One Stop Shop

You can call or email us and talk to the people who use the software daily. Online ordering has it’s place, but it’s not ideal for detailed interaction on a full featured software suite with the tools that EcuTek offer. In a workshop environment time is money, plain and simple. Spending hours to work something straight forward out costs far more in the long run. We complete everything in house from sales through to software support, map development, training and dyno tuning of customer vehicles.

Remote Tuning Support

We have many customers who are comfortable and knowledgeable tuning certain vehicles or using certain software suites but not others who appreciate the time savings associated with getting us involved with tuning. Whether you’re a retail user looking for assistance on your own car in a remote area of the country or a workshop looking to increase the volume of cars you’re moving through your workshop through reduced time on dyno, we have a packaged support solution to suit.

Tuning Hardware

There are two primary interfaces available for vehicle communications.

The first is the ProECU Programming Kit, which comes with USB dongle for software a vehicle interface cable. This can be used by workshops (with appropriately enabled software packages) for full access to supported ECU ’s for ECU editing, vehicle programming, fault diagnosis and tools functionality. At a retail level it allows for programming standard or supplied files from Master Tuners and the same logging, fault checking/clearing and tools as a workshop would have.

The other option is the ECU Connect interface. This can be used (in conjunction with a micro USB cable for PC connection and USB dongle for software access) for all of the functionality in the fist kit, or on its own in conjunction with your phone (iOS or Android) for a variety of functions including data logging, vehicle ECU programming (via PhoneFlash), data display via custom layouts on your phone, fault checking/clearing and more.

Tuning Software

ProECU software encompasses a range of functions depending on the chosen software suite. At its simplest Retail level, it allows for programming supplied files into your vehicle (for example a tuned file supplied from your tuner) or full data logging, tools and fault code checking/clearing functionality. At a fully enabled level (typically for workshops) full editing, tuning and programming access for various vehicle models becomes possible.

Embedded within the tuning side of things is a full set of custom features (availability varies between model and is dependent on ECU capability) known as RaceROM. This includes:

With the level of fine adjustment and control available, it is entirely feasible to get OEM levels of functionality and drivability whilst tuning to suit quite extensively modified vehicles. This is typically quicker and cheaper than trying to replace and integrate a full aftermarket engine management system on most cars.
